T.S.D.T. maintains a wide variety of field, health and safety equipment, including Truck-Mounted Drill Rigs, a Trailered GeoProbe Unit, a Narrow (35") Track Mounted GeoProbe Unit for inside buildings, and a Float-Mounted Drill Rig.  Field personnel have been trained in the use of this equipment and have completed the OSHA required Hazardous Materials Workers’ Training Course.

Phelps Dodge Sludge Management Site
Maspeth, Queens, New York

Client: NYC Department of Environmental Protection

T.S.D.T. provided environmental drilling services to characterize surface and subsurface contamination on the property that resulted from former copper processing activities and disposal practices.

Newark Bay Proposed Sludge Management Site
Maspeth, Queens, New York

Client: NYC Department of Environmental Protection

T.S.D.T. performed extensive subsurface testing of a 117-acre, mostly undeveloped site, for the New York City Bureau of Clean Water. Testing included groundwater monitoring wells, soil borings, and soil gas surveys.

Flushing Airport Development
Flushing, New York

Client: NYC Economic Development Corporation

T.S.D.T. performed environmental drilling at the former Flushing Airport. Much of this property was permanently flooded and not accessible with conventional drilling equipment. A portable drilling barge was used successfully to complete numerous soil borings at these locations.
